Q: Am I entitled to a transitional payment in a termination agreement?

Q: How long is the reflection period after signing a termination agreement?

After signing, you have 14 days cooling-off period . Within this period, you can reverse your decision without giving reasons. Your employer must state in the contract that you have this right; if not, the reflection period is automatically extended to three weeks.

Q: Am I entitled to WW after signing a termination agreement?

It depends on how the agreement is drafted. You retain the right to WW if: the initiative for dismissal lies with the employer; there is no pressing reason for dismissal; the correct notice period has been applied. A mistake in the wording may result in the UWV rejecting your application.
